Madewell Spring Sale Picks

One of my favorite stores, Madewell, is having up to 30% off right now. I would say they have this sale every few months and this is the time that I usually purchase items that have been on my wishlist. If you sign up as a "Madewell Insider" (which is free) then you get free shipping and returns. Even expedited shipping is FREE! Here are some of my top picks.

Tops: I am loving this white button down shirt that will go with so much for Spring/Summer and can even transition into Fall. The next top is a blue striped top that tie in the front for a more casual and easy look. It is actually on sale already, plus save even more with the current promotion - win win! The last top that I am loving is this fun ruffle-hem blouse.

Shorts: To be honest, I am not a huge fan of shorts and will typically wear dresses in the Spring/Summer. However, I tried some of Madewell's shorts last month and fell in love; however, they were not on sale so I didn't buy them. Once I saw the email that they were having an additional 30% I decided to scoop them up. These are the 3 styles that I ordered. I am loving the high waisted "mom jean" short. Hello high rise! Next, I ordered the button front shorts in black and denim. I had tried on the denim pair as I mentioned earlier and can't wait to wear them for Summer!

Jackets: I am a sucker for jackets. I actually have all 3 of these jackets in my closet and wear them constantly. I feel like I get my best "investment" out of jackets because you can always layer on a jacket to add style to an outfit. This oversized boyfriend jean jacket is one of my favorites. It is more of a casual denim and easy to throw on with black or white jeans - and even leggings.

Every wardrobe needs a surplus jacket. The olive green pairs nicely with really any neutral. I was able to score this surplus jacket for around $65 during a previous Maxwell sale.

Lastly, this Southlake Military Jacket is the newest addition to my closet. It is super comfortable and add a more feminine look than the average military jacket.

Shoes: I am LOVING the mule trend and wear my Frye Ray mules ALL THE TIME. During this sale, I grabbed the Gemma Mules; however, they don't ship until July. These mules have been a hot item - hence why they are always sold out and don't ship for several months. However, with 30% off it makes them around $68 which is around what I would pay for a nice pair of leather shoes. I know that I will wear these constantly with jeans and dresses. I don't mind waiting until July since summer in Indiana is very humid and probably wouldn't wear them much until Fall anyway.

I am also loving the Frances Loafer Mule. These are super chic with jeans. They are at a higher price point versus the Gemma Mules which is why I passed on purchasing these for now, but maybe in the future - how many mules does one need, LOL?!

Lastly, the Harper Mules have been on my wishlist for awhile. I am loving the block heel and would wear these with jeans, dresses, and midi skirts.
