As 2020 is near an end, I have rounded up some of my favorite outfits throughout this year. My outfits for 2020 have been all about comfort and versatility. My style is more classic and I like to focus more on closet staples vs trendy items. I like to invest more in items that I know will last me season after season - especially items that I know I will get the most cost-per-wear from.
You can click on each image to shop the outfit details. (Please note that I may earn commission through shopable links, but it does not cost you any extra!)
Look 1: Dress & Jean Jacket
If you do not have a good jean jacket, I suggest you go out and get one! A jean jacket is one of my most worn pieces as I love to add it to any outfit.
The dress I am wearing is from Target and was inexpensive, but felt like it was good quality. I see myself pulling it out for next Spring/Summer.
These leopard mules are one of my favorites and seriously feel like slippers. I was lucky to score them on sale! Anyone else agree that leopard is definitely a neutral?
Look 2: Tee, Comfy Shorts & Sneakers
I live for a good tee that you can dress up or down. I purchased this white tee from Everlane and have been living in them for this past year. I love the fit as they have the perfect oversized fit.
I purchased these comfy shorts for a friend's online boutique which you can check out here.
Look 3: Maxi Dress & Jean Jacket
Another Target dress and jean jacket for the win! This dress was probably one of my most worn items along with a jean jacket. I am all about comfort, but still looking put together.
Look 4: Graphic Tee & Skirt
This is one of my favorite looks. I received this Anine Bing tee for Mother's Day and have basically been living in it all year. These tees are a splurge, but the quality is amazing and they wash up so well.
I love this look of a graphic tee paired with a fun skirt and sneakers for a more casual, on the go mom look.
Look 5: Shacket Trend
I have been living in sherpa all Winter. The "Shacket" trend is becoming more popular and definitely a trend that I can hop on board with as I already live in shirt jackets.
Have you heard of the "Shacket" trend yet?
Look 6: Black Maxi & Cardigan
Another favorite look is this black maxi dress and cardigan. I paired this basic black/camel color outfit with a fun leopard mule.
This outfit is so easy and comfortable, but yet looks so tres chic.
Look 7: Jumpsuit & Jean Jacket
This jumpsuit from Everlane is so good that I bought it in black too! I lived in these jumpsuits during the Spring/Summer. They are so easy to wear and comfortable - which is key! And of course, just pair them with a jean jacket!
Look 8: Puffy Jacket
This is one of my favorite "basic mom" styles from this past year.
This jacket from Everlane is so easy to wear and great for traveling. I simply paired it with jeans and a graphic tee.
Look 9: Floral Maxi, Jean Jacket & Sneakers
One of my favorite dresses from Old Navy this year. I have been living in these all Spring and Fall. They are so easy to dress up with a blazer, or dress down with sneakers.
Look 10: Long Cardigan & Graphic Tee
I am obsessed with this outfit because it is so comfortable while taking care of the kids or for a lunch date.
These cardigans are some of my favorite as they are such great quality and will always be in style.
I loved pairing this printed cardigan with a graphic tee. This is another Anine Bing tee and is so comfy!
I have had these black mules for several years now and they are always my go-to. They make any outfit look chic and are so comfortable.
I hope you enjoyed this post and gained some inspiration for your wardrobe for the New Year!
